Introduction

Plan Plan Personal Budget ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Financial Data You Enter

The app stores the budget data you create, including:

• Monthly budgets and income amounts
• Expense names, amounts, and categories
• Custom expense categories
• Budget templates
• Currency preferences

This data is stored locally on your device and, if you choose to enable iCloud sync, in your private iCloud account.

We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or calendar data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Browsing history or usage analytics
• Health or fitness data

Data Storage

Local Storage

All your financial data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. The data remains on your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud CloudKit database. This means:

• Only you can access your data through your Apple ID
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
• We cannot access, read, or retrieve your data
• Disabling iCloud sync stops all data transmission
• You can delete your iCloud data at any time through the app or iCloud settings

Third-Party Services

Apple Services

The app uses the following Apple services:

• iCloud CloudKit — Optional cloud sync using your private iCloud database. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• StoreKit — In-app subscription purchases processed through the App Store. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• LocalAuthentication — Optional Face ID or Touch ID lock. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device and is never accessible to the app.

No Third-Party Analytics or Tracking

The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar tools.

In-App Purchases

The app offers an optional Pro subscription (monthly or yearly). Purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Subscription management is handled by Apple.

Data Security

• All data is stored on-device or in your encrypted private iCloud account
• Optional biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) protects access to the app
• No data is transmitted to third-party servers
• No unencrypted network communication

Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

• Delete all data — Use the "Clear all data" option in Settings to permanently delete all budgets, expenses, and templates from your device
• Disable iCloud sync — Turn off iCloud sync at any time in Settings to stop cloud data transmission
• Biometric lock — Enable or disable Face ID / Touch ID protection in Settings
• Delete the app — Removing the app deletes all locally stored data. To also remove iCloud data, manage your iCloud storage through iOS Settings

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app contains no advertising, social features, or account creation.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
